THE GRAND TASTING
DATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8th
WHERE: Avila Beach Golf Resort at 6464 Ana Bay Rd, Avila Beach, CA 93424

UNLESS YOU ARE PARTAKING IN THE VIP HOUR, THE EVENT BEGINS FOR YOU AT 12PM.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participating wineries are asked to provide a minimum donation of 72 to 84 (750ml) bottles of sparkling wine for the Grand Tasting, not of each label, but in total, an ice container , and dump bucket. We also strongly recommend bringing in a dolly for easier transport of your wines to your booth. We will have volunteers assisting but we're limited on the number of volunteers we have and dolly's available to share.
Attendee cap: 1,000. Table decor (flowers, vases, etc.) and your marketing materials is optional. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own table cover.
*FOR WINERIES ALSO POURING IN THE VIP LOUNGE: Please bring an additional ice container and two (2) cases of a special selection not offered in the Grand Tasting. Winemakers must be present.
Create Promotions will provide tent coverage, booth signage, 8' table with linen, ice (each winery is allotted three (3) 20lb bags only (4 for VIP wineries), and glasses (each attendee is provided one souvenir glass at entrance).
HOW MUCH TO POUR:
All pours must be limited to 2oz. Please do not pour to anyone wearing a red wristband or does not have a BubblyFest glass.

STEP 1: Pull up to ?? What Road?
STEP 2: Unload your cases. As a courtesy to the other wineries, please take no more than 10 minutes to unload your cases from your vehicle. **We strongly recommend bringing in a dolly for easier transport of your wines to your booth. We will have volunteers assisting but we're limited on the number of volunteers we have and dolly's available to share.**
STEP 3: Park your car. ??Where to direct vendors to park??
We will have volunteers and carts available to help carry cases to your table while you park your car. We only have a limited number of volunteers and dollies, so we highly recommend bringing in your own dolly. Your patience is appreciated during the Load In process. The earlier you arrive the better!
STEP 4: After parking your car, CHECK IN at the "Check In" booth to receive your staff wristbands and assistance in finding your booth, if needed. Limit (4) for wineries who provided their Certificate of Insurance before Sept. 1st and limit (3) for wineries who provide their Certificate of Insurance after Sept. 1st - as noted in the online sign up form. We will NOT be able to provide extra passes day-of. If you would like additional passes, we offer a discount code to participating wineries. Please email email@example.com for the discount code.
*FOR WINERIES ALSO POURING FOR VIP: Load In is between 9:00AM and 10:00AM. VIP Doors open promptly at 11:00AM on the ocean view terrace at Avila Beach Golf Resort's Beach House. The VIP pouring ends at 12:00PM. Please have a pourer ready at the Grand Tasting ground floor to pour for the 12:00PM for Early Entry arrivals.

For those who have NOT provided their COI yet:
Please provide a Certificate of Insurance with a combined single policy limit of no less than $2,000,000. Please include "Create Promotions, LLC" and "ABR Enterprises LP", "ABR Property LP", "Avila Beach Partners LLC", "Robin L. Rossi Living Trust dated October 19, 1990", "Vintage Traditions, Inc.", "William and Cheryl Swanson Revocable Trust dated September 28, 2000" as additionally insured. Three (3) Grand Tasting working passes are provided. One (1) additional Grand Tasting pass will be provided if your Certificate of Insurance is turned in before September 1, 2016.
Please see the second map at the bottom of this page for your booth placement. We will also assist you in directing you to your booth at check in.
STAFF PASSES / GLASSES / WATER:
Your staff passes will be provided at Check In (See Step 4 above). Limit (4) to wineries who provided their Certificate of Insurance by Sept. 1st and Limit (3) to wineries who provide their COI after Sept. 1st.
Your souvenir glasses will be placed on your tables - one per staff member. Drinking water will be provided - please bring refillable water bottles. We always have a goal of diverting 95% + of the events trash from the landfill so we do not provide plastic drinking cups or water bottles.
Please collect your empty bottles neatly behind or under your table in their box. We will have volunteers dispose of your bottles to a recycling facility post event.
Our volunteers will begin delivering ice at 10:30AM (10:00AM for wineries also pouring in VIP). Please chill your bottles in advance of arriving if needed. Each winery is allotted three (3) 20lb bags only (4 for VIP wineries).
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
Souvenir BubblyFest glasses (for staff and attendees), Ice (see above), tent coverage, table linen, (1) 8ft. shared table, signage, and tenting. Light snacks will be provided, however, we strongly recommend filling up on a hearty breakfast before the event!
DID YOU ORDER LUNCH?
You may pick up your lunch at the Chipwrecked booth beginning at 12:00PM. The location of Chipwrecked's booth is noted on the second map below. Want to order lunch? Scroll to the bottom of this page and purchase your lunch orders. After you purchase your lunch orders a pop-window will appear to fill out your lunch order. You MUST turn off your pop-up blocker to see it. Lunch ordering ends at Friday, Oct. 2nd at midnight.
Complimentary light bites will be provided by () but we do recommend eating a hardy breakfast before arriving, or ordering a lunch in advance. Please also bring a refillable water bottle.
Pouring ends promptly at 5:00PM. We ask that you please do not abandon your booth until 5:00PM. Abandoned tables end up turning into trash receptacles and it looks bad for the event and bad for anyone that comes around looking for your winery. We encourage you to stay at your booth and chat with our attendees who do approach your table - it's still an opportunity to make a lifelong customer!

Tastes of the Valleys, a wine shop located in Pismo Beach, is facilitating the sell and shipment of your Sparkling Wines. The sell of wine is usually not permitted at events per ABC regulation, however, Tastes of the Valleys is allowing us to make this happen! Go here for more information and to sign up! NON PROFIT TAX ID FOR DEDUCTION
The non-profit TAX ID number will be provided to each participant upon request after the event date. Please consult with your tax advisor as to the deductibility of your donation.
BUBBLY AT SUNSET: SPARKLING WINE DINNER

TIME: DOORS OPEN AT 6:00PM. DINNER ENDS AT 9:00PM.
WHAT TO BRING:
4-5 bottles of your Sparkling Wine. We also encourage your winemaker to attend to speak briefly about their wine (background, and any pertinent specifics about the wine for about 2-3 minutes. If you have not done so already, please email email@example.com to confirm if your winemaker will be in attendance, what you'll be pouring, and your tasting notes.
Each winery's Sparkling Wine will be paired with a course. We will notify you of which course, the menu, and the dinner schedule about a week before the event date. We also offer 50% off the ticket price if your winemaker would like to bring a guest. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the discount code.
CHECK IN 5:00PM:
We ask that your winemaker arrive with the wine by 5:00PM so that they may be chilled. If you prefer, you can mail the wine in advance to 3765 S. Higuera St. Suite 120, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 and we can bring in the wine for you. This way your winemaker won't have to arrive until 5:45PM. Or if the wine is pre-chilled, then they may arrive by 5:45PM

We ask that your winemaker arrive please arrive to the Cliffs Ballroom by 12:30PM - to meet Master Somm David Glancy, get familiar with the sound/mic set up, and so that we may begin to chill the wines.

Listen to what our panelists say about their vintages, growing conditions, terroir and winemaking styles as you compare and contrast the “Old Guard” versus the “New Guard.
David’s esteemed panel includes Norm Yost of Flying Goat Cellars, Clarissa Nagy of Riverbench Winery, and Tyler Elwell of Halcyon Wines.
Seminar guests will be treated to tastings from both the 4 top Champagne Houses in France, and the Panel’s 3 California Sparkling Wines; as well as cheeses and light snacks from Marisol at The Cliffs.

We ask that your wine is delivered to the event location by 4:00PM. If you will not have someone to drop off the wine by then, you may mail your Sparkling in advance to 3765 S. Higuera St., Suite 120, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
If you will be pouring your own specialty cocktail from behind the bar, we ask that you please bring an ice container.
We will provide the ice, glasses, bar, bartenders (if requested).

If you have not done so already, please email Stephanie@CreatePromotions.com to confirm if you will be bringing in your own staff (limit 2) to walk and mingle amongst our guests and pour your bubbly. If not, we are happy to pour your Sparkling for you - our staff will walk around the party pouring your bubbly.
If you will not have staff pouring at the event, but would like to attend the event as a guest, we are happy to offer discounted tickets. Please email Stephanie@CreatePromotions.com for the discount code.
We ask that you please drop off your 1/2 case by 4:00PM. If you will not have staff presence at the event, and prefer, you may mail your Sparkling in advance to 3765 S. Higuera St., Suite 120, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, and we will handle everything for you.
If your winemaker would like to pour at the event, we are happy to provide a table, linen, and signage at the table just for your winery.
